Questions under the parasol
The questions Da Paolone's guests ask most, with honest answers: from the wifi that isn't there (and why that's fine) to the free parking, from Deiva Marina's beaches to the train for the Cinque Terre. If your question isn't here, ask it on WhatsApp: Paolone himself answers, usually within a few hours.
Is there wifi?
No, in neither
apartment — and we say it upfront: this is a place to properly switch off. Mobile
signal works fine, but the evening programme is fireflies, not streaming.
Where do I park?
Right outside,
for free, in the private car park — for both apartments. Around Deiva that's not
a given: here it is.
How do I get to the beach?
Deiva
Marina's beaches are 5 minutes away by car or bus. And with the beach club
arrangement, your parasol is sorted too.
And the Cinque Terre?
By train
from Deiva Marina station: about 20 minutes and you're in the Park. Tourist
tickets are sold right at the station. Full guide
here.
Can I bring my dog?
Sadly no,
pets are not allowed.
We're 4 with a baby: do we fit?
Yes: we'll set up the cot (and travel crib) for you, free, on request. Children
are welcome at any age.
What time do we arrive and leave?
Check-in from 2pm to 11.30pm (let us know your time), check-out by 12 noon.
Paolone welcomes you in person, and there's luggage storage if you arrive early
or leave late.
What's the difference between Acquamarina and Sabbia?
Acquamarina is on the ground floor, with a
private entrance and 2–4 sleeping places. Sabbia is
on the first floor, with a balcony, a washing machine and 4 places. Otherwise
they're twins: equipped kitchen, air conditioning, same garden and same car park.
How do I book without fees?
Message us on WhatsApp at +39 347 375 4553
or email info@dapaolone.com: you talk
directly to us and book without platform fees.
Can we smoke? Can we throw a party?
No and no: the apartments are non-smoking, and no parties or events. The quiet is
one of the reasons guests come back.
